Lois Samuels is a Jamaican-born artist whose ceramic practice is rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and a reverence for form.
She creates hand-built, one-of-a-kind pieces that embody quiet strength and timeless beauty. Her journey with clay has taken her from traditional wood firing studies in Italy to a recent artist residency in Greece, which culminated in her first group museum exhibition. Her work was featured during the Frieze Art Fair in Los Angeles, as well as in several leading design publications. Lois continues to expand her practice through experimentation and a deep connection to nature, spirituality, and history.
